DDT

DDT is a chemical powder used to kill bugs. it was discovered by Paul Müller, a Swedish scientist. DDT was used for crop dusting to kill all the insects that would eat the crops. Now days we no that DDT is very dangerous and shouldn't be used near our food and water supply. DDT was tested on rats, sheep, and dogs. they found it can give cancer, cause berth defects, and make reproduction impossible. Some countries still use it because its cheap to make and very effective. Africa uses it to kill mosquitoes.
