Poor Peter

This is about a sad story of an abused child. I received a request from my friend Kyle to watch a video. I was not expecting what I would see. Instead of a happy, funny, inappropriate video I got a horrible tale of an abused and neglected child. His name was peter. He was beaten for his entire life of seventeen months. His mother and step father would kick him on the carpet punch him and shake him like a rag doll.
This is so insane of a situation. Child support was watching him but never rescued him. His father tried to steal him but had the police called on him by the mother. A doctor examined him but missed his nine broken ribs. He was killed by his step father when he was shaken and his spine broke.
When authorities came to examine the crime scene they found blood stains on all of his clothes and sheets. They also found huge chunks of skin missing from his head and burses all over his body. Why would anyone do this atrocity? I hope they have a death penalty waiting for them. If not then as soon as they get out of the courtroom they get beaten to death by a mob just like peter.
Remember peter as he really was poor and tormented. Don’t allow this to happen again.

This was a very powerful article. It threw my This I Believe Essay out. It was about always looking at the glass half full. There was no good that came out of this Sercombe stance. It was an empty glass. A child dies and that is always sad. This has caused child service workers to rising, a possible law suit to a doctor, and many people to have an empty feeling left in millions. Some of my beliefs and other peoples were smashed.
